The table below displays previous and current web design projects created by BDH Technology. BDH specializes in creating a custom look for your company based on what you want your web site to look like. We also keep in mind what your target audience is and help create a site to reach them.
BDH Technology tests all web sites for compatibility with all major web browsers (Internet Explorer 6&7, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh & Safari). This ensures that no matter who looks at your web site they will see the content that you intended without any problems. BDH also makes sure that all of the HTML code that we write is fully compliant with the standards that exist at that time. This prevents errors from occurring that might prevent potential visitors to your site from accessing your information.

On this project the client had a template that he had designed in Adobe Photoshop and also had the ability & willingness to edit the content using Adobe/Macromedia Dreamweaver. BDH Technology took the template created in Photoshop, converted it into a template for Dreamweaver and created the initial pages. This allowed the client to benefit from BDH Technology's experience in web design but also save time and money because they had the ability to create a good looking design and edit web pages.

Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center Intranet 2007
This site was a re-design of an existing site that was designed to match the look & feel of the main MMSC web site. This site is, however, only accessible to the client's employee's as it contains specific information. The site was designed to be highly flexible so that new 'modules' could be added at any point to extend the functionality as well as add to the existing content. Each module that is created is updated by a specific employee. Access to each module is able to be specified on a per user, per department, per job title or physical location basis. This site is being continually updated to add new functionality.

Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center 2007
This site was a re-design of a site BDH had already taken over maintenance of. The client wanted to update the look of the site as well as make the information more presentable and easier to find. We also integrated a custom-designed database backend to enable the customer to give access to specific employees. This allowed them to update certain areas of the web site such as employment listings, physician listings & details, news events and quality reports from any Internet enabled computer.

Platteville Dental 2007
This site was designed to match the look and feel of an existing web site BDH had already developed (see the Abbadent listing below). The basic layout was the same but included some different information and graphics. A lot of the factual information used was the same on both web sites so BDH developed a system so the same information could be used on each web site so when updates were made they only needed to happen in one place.

M. Gervich & Sons 2007

Imagine 2011 2007
This web site was already created when the client came to us and asked us to add functionality to it. The basic information was there but it needed to be updated so that the site would be more user-friendly. BDH also added a blog style section that allowed authorized users to post information about different committee meetings that occur. A self-posting calendar was also added to allow those same users to post meeting times as they became available. Both of these add-ons freed the client's staff members from having to make all of the updates for this site.

Blue Wave Swim Team 2007
This was a new site created to replace an existing site. The client had a previous web site that they didn't want to use any information from. They were already using Adobe/Macromedia Contribute to update their site and create new pages, so keeping that in mind we created several templates for the client to use for different sections of the site. This allowed the client to continue to maintain their own web site, but still benefit from a new design. The client also had quite of space restraints from their previous site so we made sure that the text portion of each page could be dynamically re-sized based on the web site visitor's screen resolution.

The Perfect Setting 2007
On this web site BDH Technology worked with the owner of the company to provide a unique look custom tailored to their specifications. BDH also created a custom tool to allow the owner to update the featured artists and events pages. This tool allows the owner to make changes to their site from any computer in any place. That way the owner can keep her site up to date without the added expense of hiring someone or learning how to edit web pages.

Community Y of Marshalltown 2007
For this web site the client wanted us to create a tool that would allow them to update their program information, which changed frequently. The program information was already stored in a database but was being updated manually. BDH Technology created a custom tool to allow authorized users to log in to a special web page and then update any of the program information, instructors, sessions, categories, locations or age groups that they needed. This allows them to update their program information with the ease of using a web site and doesn't require manual database updates.

Marshalltown BBQ.com 2007
For this web site the client already had a graphic designer and a person that could edit web pages, what they didn't have was anyway to get the design into a format that the other person could edit. BDH Technology took the design from the graphic artist, which was created in Quark Express, and converted it into a template for Adobe Dreamweaver (formerly Macromedia Dreamweaver). BDH also created all of the initial pages. Once that was completed the person editing the web page could add all of the content to the site. This allowed the organization to save money but still get a quality product designed up to the standards BDH Technology is known for.

I Can Really Read!!! 2007
On this project the client wanted to create a web site to focus on a new product she was developing. Their target audience is a little bit different than most. The product is for children that are learning to read, but parents, grandparents and educators are the ones that would be purchasing her product. BDH Technology had to create a site that was both visually stimulating and was easy to use. The site also was featuring the client's products without the ability to order them. At the time it was created the client was just starting their business and didn't want the added expense or hassle of dealing with online orders. We made sure to design the site with the idea in mind that the client may want to add online ordering features at some point.

Marshalltown Rotary 2006
This was a new web site created for the Rotary Club of Marshalltown. The client wanted a fairly basic site with mostly static information, with the exception of a member database and news page that they wanted to be able to update themselves. BDH created a scrolling news page where they could add information as well as photos to keep member's up to date. BDH also created a members only page that allows members of the organization to put in a generic password and retrieve information, such as email, phone, etc, about each member.

SNT Trucking & Warehousing 2006
This web site is more of a custom application than a web site. The client wanted a site where their vendor's & clients could log in and look at inventory information as well as shipping & receiving statements. BDH also implemented an alert system so that if an item dropped below or above a predefined level the vendor & client would receive an email. This system greatly increased the clients productivity since they no longer had to answer phone calls of vendors & clients wanting inventory status & shipping updates.
